Redbones for Adoption

Well yes,  I am talking about a color… but this color is wrapped around a package filled with love! Rosie is a wonderful mature dog.. the absolute best kind to adopt. She is 7 years old. Rosie is a sweet and easy-going dog who would make a wonderful family pet. She gets along great with other dogs. Rosie is a purebred redbone. Redbones are known for being very intelligent. If you can appreciate a good dog you’ll love Rosie!

Her foster mom says -
“Rose gets along with everyone.  She is a sweet girl.  She shows no signs of aggression, nor is she particularly submissive – or dominant, either for that matter.  She just is.  And that’s perfect for a multiple dog household.  She discovered an open, empty crate and immediately claimed it.  She knows what the doggy door is and how to use it.   She tips the scales at around 70 – 80 pounds. She’s one of the nice big old style houndy Redbones.  I doubt Rose would do well with cats…her hunting drive is too strong.  She does not have a loud, clarion voice.  Hers sounds kind of strained.  Unless she’s in “hunting mode”, you really don’t hear a lot out of her.”
