Redbones for Adoption

Calvin is in Mooresville, IN. He is a very friendly, loving and well-mannered 1-year-old Tree Walking Coonhound that is currently being fostered by a trainer and making great strides in all aspects of training. As you can see in his picture, he has a very handsome beauty mark on the end of his nose that just adds character to his already amazing personality. He is housetrained, crate-trained, rides good in the car and walks easy on a leash. Calvin’s is good with other dogs, but just can’t fight off the temptation to chase cats so a home with no cats is recommended. He is good with children 10 years and up. He loves to play with balls, toys and stuffed animals along with various search games and other things to keep his smart, active mind busy.
Calvin has mastered many training commands with his training resume including that he shakes with both paws, knows the “leave it” command, spins in a circle, knows “down”, can weave between legs, knows “stay” and “come” commands, waits on food bowl, knows “back up” and rollover, “kennel up”, exchange a toy for a treat and leave it when a car goes by. Per his trainer, Christina, he has been easy to train as he aims to please and is very smart boy. Calvin has reached stardom having appeared on “Pet Pals” with Patty Spitler on Saturday, 6/11 with a repeat appearance on Saturday, 6/12. Calvin’s adoption fee includes personal training with Calvin and his new adopter so that Calvin can continue in the right direction with his training.
